Wasnt talking about stripes at WBA old boy, was talking about their naff Albion in the away end and scarf thing behind the Birmingham rd end. Looks better now though doesnt it?!
If you want stripes, Bradford kind of have stripes, looks pretty poor:

Football Ground Guide: Coral Windows Stadium, Bradford City Football Club

Fair enough mate.
The words in Bradford's stands and the higgledy-piggledy nature of the stands don't help but don't put me off the idea of stripes altogether. The fact that half the seats are all faded does it no favours either. I'm not a fan of words and pictures - so plain blue seats if the stripes idea doesn't work.

Jesus, was that designed by their local school?! It looks like something out of the film toys.

Imagine this but with white instead of the reds seat and the stripes evenly spaced.

Is anyone able to photoshop this?

Isn't the idea behind multicoloured seats to give the impression of a full house if there isn't one?

I always thought plain blue, but across the west stand a giant white seagull like on our badge.

I also quite like colchester's idea of the white block of seating behind the goal, rest blue.

One of Grimsby's stands is stripy thou...

Slightly O/T, but where is the tunnel, (players exit) at Falmer, is it in one of the corners, or middle of East/West stand ?

Edited to say, clearly looking at the web cam it not in the East stand.

We'd want slighty wider stripes I reckon.

Looks like what it is to me, a ground that opened roughly 10 years ago.
I reckon plain blue seats all round would just look slick and timeless.

Also, i think that main stand at Huddersfield is pretty much a carbon copy of our new east stand that is going up nicely at the moment, although obviously we wont have the top tier till its needed..

Ibrox is plain blue with no words or pictures:

I think this is the way most clubs are going these days. Rangers ripped out all the crazy colours they used to have in the 3 newer stands a few years back to make all 4 stands more unified.

Most new grounds in the higher reaches of the football/Prem League seem to going for the less is more approach of no tacky lettering.

Not sure how true this, the Emirates and Eastlands are plain but I'm not sure how many others are. The newest new ground is just as tacky:

Plain, non-fading blue is best
