Most seem convinced that this about preserving the South Downs.
If a football stadium is built, what next? Many are convinced that the Albion will need supermarkets etc built around them to survive.
Also most believe that it will only cost Lewes DC a few thousand to appeal becuse they have heard that others will be chipping in with cash. A few thous is worth preserving the Downs.
Whether these views are getting through to Lewes DC I don't know.
Made our lives hell? Erm, no not really. They may be top flouncers unable to accept democratic will, but that is way over the top.Uncle Spielberg said:Why are people sucking the dicks of these people , they have made our lives hell for 7 years and continue to do so, perhaps yyou should all go to the Falmer village and give them all a big hug

I also did not like the slating of the Falmer residents after prescots decision. Its things like that that motivate opponenets.
I think to many people here live in a goldfish bowl. I cant be the only one who sees it like this surely?

Winding up residents and the abuse aimed at them only strengthens their resolve and their case. The arguments on here have become a new religion for some and you are still waiting to be lead to the promised land. Reading some of the rubbish on here and the attitudes to Falmer residents is actually making me feel less supportive of the cause. I wouldn't want to be associated with those attitudes or people who espouse them.
I have had dealings with some of these organisations who are helping the Falmer residents and they believe just as passionately in their cause. They are decent people and to treat them as some do is just plain stupid. I don't want to see the piecemeal destruction of the Downs and can understand where they are coming from. And yes, I have written letters, signed petitions and gone on a march in support of Falmer.

I've been here all my life and haven't found one yet.........3gulls said:What did you expect? To find someone in Seaford that had a brain?
