The fact is with Ray Bloom's past history with this club, do we really want any member of the Bloom family having anything near overall control of this club?

I wouldn't say it was 'overall'. Admittedly this is from 2005, perhap someone can update the shareholding stakes in the club...

Harry Richard Knight 1367500 29.61%
Pig City Incorporated Limited 550000 11.91%
Raymond Alexander Bloom 500000 10.83%
William John Brown 500000 10.83%
Friday-Ad Holdings Ltd 500000 10.83%
Kevin Ralph Patrick Griffiths 500000 10.83%
Derek Leonard Chapman 350000 7.58%
Michael John Hastilow 150000 3.25%
Robert Leonard Pinnock 120000 2.60%
John Edward Vickers 50000 1.08%
Joseph David Hirschel 15000 0.32%
Peter Fleming Jackson McDonnell 10000 0.22%
John Town 5000 0.11%
Martin John Perry 130 0.00%

Have the other Blooms put in more than their old man? If not, Dick would still be able to outvote them single-handedly.

To be honest, the fact that Ray Bloom is allowed any involvement in the Albion does not sit well with me, he is and will always be tarnished by the fact he was part of the board that sold the ground (I know it was not him directly, but he still stayed on).

So the Blooms (assuming they are united) had - as at 30 June 2007 - 20.2% of shares between them.

Is 'J Gold' the buxom Jacqueline Gold, David Gold's daughter, and Chief Executive of the Ann Summers empire, perchance?

I asked that one yesterday TLO and, sadly, the answer came back that it was a John Gold.

You can still dream. though...

Ho-hum. Would have been nice to have a director who looks like this...

Do we know the individual share price?

There's no quoted market price (eg FTSE) as BHAFC is a private limited company not a plc. Hence the shares aren't traded in any real sense but each will have a nominal value at issue (say a £1). From time to time new shares may be issued in order to raise additional capital which people with money to burn may be able to purchase. I think this was last done in 2006 or 2007 and the capital raised was used to partly cover the recently announced £2M+ loss for 2006/7. One of the shareholders may also want to bail out at some point at which time the ownership may change, although the monies paid will go to outgoing lunatic, not the club.

I obviously have FAR too much time on my hands...

Based on names and numbers posted on NSC so they may well be 'flawed'...
