Watford supporter, too, apparently
Seems good at his job, but also very full of himself too.
Of course he is. Proper bloodsucking ****. But good at what he do and one of the best sources for transfer news.

He is not a journalist that decided to get information on transfers, he was a kid who had some information on transfers, and became a journalist. It's people like us that share and discuss transfer rumours that give him a living, he is just feeding our desperation to know what is going on with players and clubs.
What he's good at is reporting exactly what the agents who talk to him want him to say. If that's a job - helping the most despised people in football - it's an odd one.
The Cucurella saga was actually interesting. People played it as Romano v Naylor but it was really Cucu's agent versus Brighton and Hove Albion's top brass' message. You sort of got to the truth via a combination of both if you were good at reading between the lines. But, ultimately, Romano confirmed the deal at the wrong time for the wrong amount. The fact that there were add ons and that Colwill ended up a loan, neither of which were in Romano's pinned £52.5 million tweet, shows there was still plenty of negotiation being done. FR reported what Mr 10% wanted - and got it wrong. Not sure there's anything "good" about that.
As for unsettling players who've signed five year contracts.......
In least surprising news, 17 year old football obsessed Jnr, believes FR to be the second coming and hangs on his every word as FACT.
But then again he is a f**king idiot so it's not really surprising.
And his army of sycophants all digitally noshing him off as a hero. Odd.I think Romano is a bit of a prat - still trying to claim he called the Cucurella deal correctly, when all the evidence suggests otherwise.
An unkind person might say it was hereditary but I am not unkind.
He's just a tool for the agents.
