Would Fabian Hurzeler be a good replacement for RDZ?

So somebody had asked a while back about his wag. Not usually a question you ask of a coach, but most coaches aren't 31.

I'm assuming:

Jordan is excellent value.
I find him a pompous arse.

Or, as he would put it:

"I am of the notion that the gentleman in question is indubitably prone to enunciating his confabulations by articulating an entirely superfluous abundance of words".

I just want to get this done now.

Although it would have been ideal to get a proven quality manager like Potter in, which would have guaranteed success over time - bringing a young, virtually unknown manager is the more exciting option.

I honestly have no idea whether we'll be in a relegation battle this year and he'll be sacked by Christmas, or whether he'll set the Premier League alight and we'll be back in with a shout with Europe, as he inevitably gets linked with Chelsea once they've sacked their manager.

Whatever happens, never dull being an Albion fan.

Also, me too! I don’t know why but it’s as if a huge cloud of depression has been lifted that’s been hanging over us over the last few weeks, if not months. The anti climax of a season petering out so tamely and RDZ leaving, then the exasperatingly long (so it seemed) search for a new manager seemingly fruitless - then bingo!

The curviest curved ball from the furthest left of the left field is revealed - so Brighton, so brilliant, and so wonderfully uplifting for us fans. I’m buzzing and can’t wait for the official announcement and the start of the season.

Please, Gods of Football, let this all happen without raining on our parade or dumping a load of shit on proceedings - thank you very much.

So well put and weird too you say that - that is exactly how I felt when thinking about how low we all were in the second half of last season and how it would need a really inspired replacement by the club to follow on from the De Zerbi phenomena that took us higher than we’d been before - but then left us feeling more crushed than maybe we should have been when events and personalities conspired to squeeze out the last vestiges of excitement we had had from being in Europe. 2023/24 really was a season of two halves - I really felt when Roberto left, that a mediocre but adequate RDZ replacement would not lift me out of my gloom. It wouldn’t be remedied by a middle age ‘company’ man who sat quietly in the dugout talking to his video analysts or even a project manager who was excellent on the field but maybe lacked the De Zerbi/Potter tactical foundation that would have meant a slow, steady walk to another mid-table finish - it needed some thinking outside the box. So now we have a young, exciting, yellow-card magnet, obsessive, with a tactical brain to match both Potter and De Zerbi who uses sideline bans to celebrate with his fans on the terraces . One that can make us believe again. It’s like TB knew exactly what the fans needed.
