Soooo much more exciting than any of the other 'linked' names. Would be happy with him or Rydstrom. Still a risk but one worth taking I think.
Sometimes I really wonder what your f***ing problem isMy condolences.
And between September 2022 and April 2023 when you also didn't post? And between August 2021 and September 2022?

Think he'd be the first Albion manager that I am more than twice as old as. Definitely not comfortable with that!!Would be the first Albion manager to be younger than me, by a few years too. Not sure how comfortable I am with that.
Sometimes I really wonder what your f***ing problem is.
Yes, because the biggest, most vile **** on this board is very determined to turn into a shitfest, as always. And its not going to sort itself, because he's a mod and very clearly untouchable since he would have banned a million years ago if the same rules applied to him as anyone else. He sets the tone and is personally responsible for like 90% of the abuse and personal attacks that happen here. Like this one. What should be a fun and exciting thread has taken an unpleasant turn
...yes, and who his replacement should be when he jumps ship
If we're appointing 31 year olds, there's a chance the next one is still in primary school. We might as well start that thread now...

One right on the final whistle. I was there that day.If we're appointing 31 year olds, there's a chance the next one is still in primary school.
The day after Hurzeler was born, we won 2-1 at Wigan with a brace from Kurt Nogan. Blimey this makes me feel old.
Top work. The crowd was only 2000 odd and I think I found a facebook post saying it was snowy too.One right on the final whistle. I was there that day.
Yes, my brain said that too. Although I wasn't sure if it was confusing it with the match at Huddersfield the following week where we had a snowball fight.Top work. The crowd was only 2000 odd and I think I found a facebook post saying it was snowy too.

So we just have to deal with it and raise our voices and make it a Hurzeler discussion/news thread.
Interesting to see that he in recent months played a 3-4-3 formation (with some differences in it depending on the game), while changing a bit more prior to that. Sometimes in a run-in you do want to go for the comfy stuff though, when things go well.
A 3-4-3 formation, or really most 3-at-the-back formations, would probably mean a bit more changes to the squad compared to someone who is more interested at playing four at the back - if we assume Hurzeler actually has a favorite formation rather than being the kind of "lets shape the team according to what we have".
I said a couple of weeks ago that I thought we would try to go for Levi Colwill again, breaking our transfer record if needed. If we cant get him, getting a top level LCB - and no, not fecking Alibigor - will still be a massive priority. And finding a starting LCB for a Premier League team is a lot easier said than done.
The wide players in a 3-4-3 are also some key players. We saw under Potter that March is able to do the job on the right side, and I imagine Pervis should be able to do it on the left, although you kind of want someone who is a bit better at linking up with players around him than Pervis is. Perverto is a fantastic crosser, fantastic runner, fantastic shooter, but the small tiki-taka play is not exactly his strength, and realistically we're going to have smaller spaces to work with than with RDZs 4-2-3-1 formation.
Going to take a deep dive into Hurzelian tactics tomorrow and try find out what we're in for more specifically, and which of our players who will be able to suit him... if ends up being him, maybe shouldn't take it for granted quite yet...
Pretty excited about this and hope to get even more excited tomorrow. From a tactical perspective I would love it, I was fearing we'd go with another one of drazillions of 4-2-3-1 managers just because we had started to build a bit in that direction recently.
Why?Bye bye!
Haha, tongue in cheek, sounded like the start of a rant that would grant banishment....again.Why?
