I’m up there for the England game today. I’ll see if I can find someone in a hi-vis vest and ask them what’s happening with the semi finals.
if you see the tall guy then he will be able to tell you how much a ticket will cost as well. you will recognise him as he has brown hair

Redraw the semis

We will play Sheffield United at Wembley on the Saturday 50/50 allocation

City and United can both have a 50/50 at Stockport or Oldham which puts the marathon “issue” to bed
That's clearly the only sensible solution.

Why ? Marathon starts in the South East around 9am, finishes in the Mall (between 11, with numbers peaking around 1-2pm, and about 5pm) and goes nowhere near Wembley at all. Just avoid tube stations around the finish area (Embankment, Charing Cross etc which will be chaos) and it’ll be fine. Brighton line - Thameslink to London Bridge - Jubilee line to Wembley.
Spot on

Yes...thats my dad's mate who's uncle works for the FA...he has brown hair and two eyes. He told me this morning this is the Fa final decision...Apparently Brighton were not happy to play a winner takes all game, nor playing infront of 70,000 mancs at Wembley. We have proposed a double header, one game Cup, one game league to be played on pitch 8 at Waterhall on Sunday 23rd APRIL...10am ko 30mins each way. Parking free and as many fans flocking over the downs to watch. No tickets will be issued just turn up!

You had me, until you mentioned the free parking

Plus Club Wembley members I believe automatically get a ticket which is most of the middle tier.
Yes, believe Club Wembley is about 10k tickets, and another 5k non-Club Wembley in that middle tier. So that leaves 75k, minus any segregation, minus freebies. 34k each makes complete sense in that context.

Something that has just occurred to me. We are all saying the Man Utd Euro match can't be moved. So what if two teams in the semis were playing Thursday but not playing each other at the weekend? What would have to move?

Often mentioned that Man Utd have a European Matech on the previous Wednesday, but so do Citeh, I believe, who are in the other semi-final

Probably just do a Sunday/Monday semi-final instead. I think in exceptional circumstances Europa League games can also be played on a Wednesday, but they try to avoid it clashing with Champion's League

Maybe the fixtures for the semi finals are simply based as one would imagine, first two out of the hat play Saturday, second two out of the hat play Sunday. Maybe the FA have scheduled us to play Saturday after all, but United are appealing because they don’t want to play two games in 48 hours even though they’ve done it before, as have Liverpool and City…. https://www.givemesport.com/1514172...ss-than-48-hours-apart-over-christmas-period/

Think that's the most probable cause of delay in confirming it!

If Man Utd have a problem they should just do the decent thing and withdraw

Had a quick look on Blue Moon to see if they had a date yet (no). But saw this, which I thought was a very interesting poll (obviously after their QF win).

Isn't it remarkable that I'm reality we're the team others prefer NOT to been drawn against. I spoke to a United fan colleague and he said anyone but Brighton! He would of preferred Sheffield or City than us!!
