8pm on Saturday?

And it’s on telly?

Okay. I’ll watch on the telly then.
Quite.

No way to back to Norfolk after the match - even if I stay over in London and travel home Sunday, nightmare engineering works at the weekend, no Thameslink out of London and Sunday services to boot - a perfect public transport storm afaic.

This lazy couch potato bad fan will probably bow out of this one.

(Unless I decide to book a hotel in Brighton for the weekend)

Wish they’d hurry up and sort it. It’s my 60th birthday that weekend and I’m getting grief from ‘er indoors trying to organise it. Naturally I won’t commit to anything until I know when the match is going to be.
I just mentioned to my wife that the Chelsea PL game is 8pm Valentines night and does she want a ticket. “No, you’d enjoy it better without me and we can go out anytime “ 👍

I’m afraid there’s nothing for it, the Chelsea fans will have to be held back until the trains are cleared

3am should do it

Crap... it's a fun kick off time but obvious travel nightmare. It'll probably sell out but I fear that we'll have far, far more than 4,500 Chelsea fans in the ground

Will have to go in the North for this one as WSL will be swarming with them
I live in Chichester and it's a nightmare to get back to for a game that late.

I've ended up stranded at Barnham a few times over the last few seasons.

How terrible playing Chelsea twice. 15 years ago we would have loved to. I will go to both and hope for 2 wins like most people.
Not everyone feels the same. Plenty of us are veterans from our troubled times and before but to be honest I couldn't care less about Chelsea, they are pretty much my least favourite team in the whole of football. I love watching the Albion but the cost is expensive and like many of us, I am feeling my age. I will almost certainly go, but it's the height of hubris to heap approbrium on people who are exercising choice.
