I noticed that a number of Championship clubs played a second 11 in the 3rd round. For that reason, I’d like Hull (if they win) or Cardiff at home. They need to worry about staying in the Championship, not progressing in the cup against us.

Bristol Rovers, if they beat Ipswich of course - it's a game I'll be able to get to easily!

Back in 1992 I went to Mansfield for the first time. We had to get a bus from Nottingham (15 miles). I believe there is a line there now. I don't recall any other grounds that involved a long bus journey for train supporters like that one.
When I went to Mansfield on a freezing cold, snowy, Saturday in the late '80s (while doing the 92 grounds trek), I got off at Mansfield Parkway, stupidly unaware that it was several miles from the town centre. Having caught a bus, I finally got to their Field Mill ground at half-time, having missed the only goals in a drab 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic!

In fairness, I may have made the Mansfield Parkway error had it not been for one of our group being a train spotter.

Fulham away.
I can stand in an isle, throw lager and push fellow fans over seats, we would have more tickets so more people can join in the fun. :moo:

First visit to Mansfield (probably around 2000) they were in the middle of redevelopment and the away terrace was down the side of a stand where you couldn’t see over 50% of the pitch. I think it was Jeff Woods last game in charge so not a bad thing.

Returned a year later and it was nice tidy ground by then.

Soft spot for Mansfield because their absolute megashitness ensured a 6-0 first game at Withdean for us (Freeman hattrick, “Silky” Dave Cameron got an assist!
