You're talking blinkered rubbish again. I'm a true F1 fan and I want Button to win the Championship

Ross Brawn obviously knows even less about F1 then you does he?

Brawn team principal Ross Brawn: "We thought the wets would hold up and they didn't. We were lucky with Rubens, but not with Jenson. It was a poor call in the end. It was an easy decision (on tyres) in this last session and you could see what the car could do. We thought it was about not making a mistake, but perhaps we were too conservative

TCB, I agree with your views on Lewis, however I think your view on Button is very uncalled for, Button drove superbly in the first 6 or 7 races and one or two races since then (Monza) and on those performances does deserve to win the title, didn't Lewis Hamilton have 6 wins last season? the same as Button just his wins were scattered over the season.

Wait for the better car argument (which Lewis had last season and the season before but also bottled it one season and if it wasn't for some questionable last lap driving by Glock would have repeated the feat last season)

I love Lewis btw I just HATE TCB's predjudiced, ill informed views, on F1

No bottler would have even got in a car today

King Lewis had some competition last year though. Button's had no competition this year whatsoever and still could blow it. He's a joke.

.

Barrichello and Vettell have been competition. remember Hamilton blew a 17 point lead with two races to go two years ago. Were you calling him a bottler or maybe a choker? At least be consistent.

Lewis didn't have the best car last season - fact.

Opinion and at least Button has had a decent partner, Hamilton had the joke that is Kovalainen. If he'd had a Barrichello he would have lost points to him during the season and wouldn't have won last year. Now that IS a fact

i think this is where hamilton could end up getting raped should king kimi be back in a competitve mclaren next year and in a relatively sober state - just hope hamilton doesnt kick off if he is being outshone by his team mate

Fact, illustrated by the way both Ferraris won races consistently while King Lewis was miles ahead of Kovalainen. I know Heikki isn't the best driver, but if the McLaren was as good as the Ferrari I'd have expected him to be on the podium a lot more. He wasn't, so the Ferrari was the best car.

Massa and Raikonnen are a different league to Kovalainen who is just rubbish, either Massa or Raikonnen would have challenged Hamilton if they'd been in a McClaren.

So still not a fact just a very very biased OPINION

I don't buy this at all. If, let's say, Lewis had had a good partner last season he would have taken points of Massa and Kimi too. Not JUST Lewis. And it'll be the same next season. If Kimi's at McLaren it's not ONLY Lewis he'll take points off, it's everyone at the front.

If Kimi gets to drive the McClaren next season we should see just how good Hamilton is. He is very good but is he great? The jury (apart from you) is out on that. He makes too many mistakes to be a true great at the moment..just imo. Exciting, good for the sport? Definite yes but no Clark/Fangio/Schumacher yet.

last time he had a decent partner they ended up kicking off at each other as both wanted to hog the limelight - the same thing is going to happen all over again next year, and its going to be even more explosive as it will probably happen at ferrari as well

Gonna be FANTASTIC viewing. I expect Alonso to make himself the no 1 Ferrari driver very quickly, he is the best/most consistent driver on the grid. Kimi is good enough to challenge Lewis but will he be arsed to do it for a full season. I'd expect him to blow Lewis away in a few races and be very ordinary in others if recent form is continued.

He's TWENTY-FOUR!!!! Please, just keep repeating that to yourself. Michael Schumacher hadn't won a championship when he was Lewis' age. Lewis HAS. Fernando won his first championship at the age Lewis is now. Put just how brilliant he is in perspective I think. So the odd mistake is all you've got against him, when other "greats" weren't even winning races at his age let alone having to worry about "mistakes." He's a phenomenal talent and will surpass many of those you hark on about.

I've got nothing against him, and time will tell if you are right or not. I hope you are but it's not just gonna happen because you want it to :lolol:
