Tough crowd, you are in the WSL? Surely you saw the curl he put on it. I reckon he could dispossess Salah in our box, run the length of the pitch and chip the keeper to score the winning goal at Anfield and you’d decide he just got lucky :lolol:

(OK I do have a vivid imagination )

Middle tier front row. Saw the curl, but given the amount of time he had, he barely wrapped his foot around it.

As I said there were groans and amusement around me, I certainly wasn’t the only one. It was just all a bit comical, given the amount of space and time ..... [emoji2]

Incidentally he probably would try and dribble around Salah in his own box [emoji6]

To be fair on him, I thought they’d put him on in front of Montoya rather than on the left side, where he actually had to use his standing foot...

I just wonder what his celebration will be like if he does score.

Edit - I think he’ll crowd surf

I couldn’t believe he got on at left wing back, with March sitting next to him on the bench.

I’m all for getting him involved, but surely there’s no future for him in that position? Match hasn’t played much in recent weeks either.

Agree. Never thought I would see him come on wide left . Assume with us leading he was given tracking back duties and giving help to Burn. Not that he spent anytime in our half. . Strange with March on bench,

I know Schelloto is a bit marmite but I don’t recall a post from you recently suggesting that any of our players are anything but average to poor
Nut and shell.

For the 3rd week running the Spurs fan is going after Alzate.

What's the point of him and the bollox he spouts?

I had just checked twitter and saw brian owen's comments about two of our subs scoring, so got a little bit more excited about the shot that was clearly going wide than I should have.

Back to the OP.....

I thought he was taking it in (the scene). I didn't sense any kind of sulk.

I think that he is so happy to be back. I was surprised that he played on the left then again Potter thinks a little different to most people.(In a good way).

Yes, will give you that.

I can only deduce that you spent the whole game laughing at a variety of our players if Schelotto’s shot was worth laughing at :lolol:

You really don’t like him do you? Luckily, for me, it appears that Potter is a fan though

I have no idea why he sticks with us tbh. His second team disappoints even after wins, what’s the point?

We all laughed.
He had so much time, managed to get it on his right foot, and then produced a shot that never looked like going in.

To be fair I suppose it's the angle you're looking at it from, we were behind it so saw it was never threatening the goal.

I take it you laughed at the other players who failed to hit the target?

No, because the circumstances were completely different much more time, no trust in his left foot, better options, in reality not that great an effort.

But thank you for your question

Is he a fan?

Hasn’t started him over Montoya who is struggling. Though did great yesterday.

I think it’s fair to say we disagree, but I actually don’t necessarily think I’m in the minority (not that NSC opinion is anything to go by).

I genuinely think he is fine on the right, but nowhere near the defence.

Well he made the bench so was preferred ahead of AJ and then got on when March and Mooy were on the bench so I guess he sees something, or maybe he was just trying to piss off you and all the other ES haters (or maybe he thought the WSL needed a laugh)

Come on Icy, he’s not your benchmark surely [emoji2]

But fair enough re March and Mooy, though Mooy isn’t really a wide player

As per my earlier post I honestly thought he was coming on to play in front of Montoya which would have been sensible.

That's my point, with a fair few posters.

The team has back to back great home wins, both very different yet very accomplished.
They are 8th in the current false dawn Premier League table with a fair few dropped points under their belt.

Yet posters X, Y & Z are rushing on here to Arsenalise the place.

I get the desire to reflect a couple of days down the line.
But a couple of minutes just leaves my flabber agast, what's the point.

All this.

Except it is ‘back to back TO BACK’ home wins

In fairness I was banging on about how lucky we were after our three 1-0 wins last season and was labelled negative, although I’m not sure we can be considered anywhere close to lucky in two of these three wins. People say as they see I guess.

Me? I am in contention for being Potter’s biggest fan, it could all blow up in my face as we lose the next three games 9-0
