I thought it was top drawer. Totally brilliant. Ian McKellan was fab, and the scene when he opened the drinks bottle was excellent.

Mitchell and Webb was good last night, and that was indeed a very funny sketch.

Mind you, Mock the Week was also quality, especially the "lines you'd never hear in a Bond film":

"I see Q, that's ingenius. So not only is it a bomb, it's also a rucksack" :D :D :D :D :D :D

Frankie Boyle was definitely on form last night. Very very funny man.

He's on as part of the comedy fest later this month and should not be missed.

Sir Ian Mc explaining how he became a Wizard is one of the funniest things I have seen in AGES

Where did you watch it Beachy? I wouldn't mind watching the first episode of the second series.

That was my first ever episode, I wouldn't mind watching previous episodes, espically the first episode.

go to BBC.co.uk. Type "Extras" into the search facility and it should take you to the online episodes... enjoy.

Brilliant, although just not as gut-achingly funny as the Baftas one. But Ian McKellan's acting tips were more than worth the entrance fee alone.

What with the condom/Diana Rigg and Ronnie Corbett/cocaine scenes which had me nearly vomiting with laughter, I seriously maintain this is as good as the very best of comedy - Fawlty Towers et al. An incredible series.

I want Andy and Maggie to "get it on" :p She's sweet and he's a nerd - the best combination!!

Still think its really sad in places and not comedy at all - but I guess thats the point of it...
