Pretty unlikely sadly. Everton to get nothing from Sheff U (h) and The Arse (a) with Luton beating West Ham (a) and/or Fulham (h).

Even if admined, Everton will stay up and their fans will bleat next season. The pratts.
Hypothetically, If they win their next game and are mathematically safe, would they choose to go into administration before the last game, rather than wait and start next season on -9?

Was thinking on Saturday there is nothing really to like about Everton.

Sean Dyche and his agricultural style of football
Dominic Calvert Lewin
That f***ing chant that goes WOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Forget FFP the ban should be increased based on the above IMO.
Surely the woooo is better than that f***ing
Yippy aye aaaaa or whatever it is
I think that’s the worst song in football

I like Goodison Park (but that will be gone soon). As a small boy I was fascinated by the fact that they had a concaved area behind both goals - unique ?

I do not see it making any difference. Whatever deductions they get they will just about do enough. They know now that future FFP punishments will be as weak as piss anyway.

I thought there were rules to prevent tactical administration in that if you delay and go into Admin when you are mathematically safe, the points would carry forward to the following season.

I don't know but 9 points will not be enough to put them danger either way.

The problem for EFC regarding administration (apart from the points deduction) is that someone else comes in to run the business. That person will need to do everything they can to stop EFC becoming insolvent - including obviously selling assets (eg: players). The "club" as we know it will have no control over who's sold, or for how much. I don't think administration will be option that's chosen lightly - albeit, they may be forced into that situation.

Sure this will help to convince the football authorities that 777 are fit and proper...

I dislike Everton but I really like Dyche.

Call me conflicted.

They are in all sorts of financial issues. Fans complaining about the new ownership are naive in that they think their club is a good investment. It isn’t.
They will need to sell assets starting with Pickford. Then there is Dominic Calvert-Lewin who will be in the last year of his contract come the summer.
They may avoid going into administration but they are on a downward trajectory finance wise and at some point they will be relegated.
