I think all those nippy through balls will be meat abd drink from Evan. Hoping for a decent season for him having watched today's friendly. He's a finisher.
From looking at the image posted by PervisPervis' Instagram story today is also tagged as Marbella, so presumably he is there with Ferguson (and maybe other recovering players*) doing rehab?
*Not Joao Pedro, as his stories seem to be socials with friends
Yep, they are at the Marbella Football Center. Looks like Dominic Calvert-Lewin has also just been there:-From looking at the image posted by Pervis

And then this one posted by John Haddad when he was working with Erling Haaland it certainly looks like we are using his services to rehab some of the players as @Han Solo suggested a few posts back.

I don’t know just questioning the certainty with which some - who don’t work at the club, with the players, aren’t specialists - want to apportion blame on here for injuries, form or development of our young players.
I can - not only another Albion player, but another Irish striker of a similar age.I can’t recall a previous case where an Albion player had such a precipitous decline from very good to very ordinary while nominally regarded as being fit for selection (and playing)
Really ? Players carry injuries all the time. And players form varies- all the time. For the Albion and everyone else. Trossard, Murray, March , Adingra etc etcThis really baffling situation is bound to provoke some speculation though and that will (by its very nature) be pretty haphazard. Yep. Jose Izquerdo had the same trajectory, carrying an injury.Really ? Players carry injuries all the time. And players form varies- all the time. For the Albion and everyone else. Trossard, Murray, March , Adingra etc etc
Ofc - if you had the definitive answer to why then share - but it’s not baffling or surprising that playing in a struggling team, carrying an injury, alongside 2nd choice wingers, or being relatively young might contribute. And it’s, afaik, nobody’s fault.
Whilst not talking about Ferguson specifically, I have it on very good authority that there was concern that RDZ's training methods may have contributed to last season's injury woes, but not in the way some have speculated about previously.
Instead of overworking players in training, the training load was relatively light - lots of stop/start tactical sessions and fewer intense sessions than might be expected. As such, the players just weren't best conditioned for 90+ minutes of intense Premier League football.
Ha! Not enough fitness instead of the over training claimed. Too intellectual instead of too emotional? Who’d have thunk it? Not NSC.Whilst not talking about Ferguson specifically, I have it on very good authority that there was concern that RDZ's training methods may have contributed to last season's injury woes, but not in the way some have speculated about previously.

I did wonder what this lot got up to and, by the sounds of your post, the answer might have been not much.Whilst not talking about Ferguson specifically, I have it on very good authority that there was concern that RDZ's training methods may have contributed to last season's injury woes, but not in the way some have speculated about previously.

Laying out cones, warm ups and warm downs…I did wonder what this lot got up to and, by the sounds of your post, the answer might have been not much.

Both glandular fever and an ankle injury have been widely circulated. One of those would explain the drop-off in form, both would be compelling.Ha! Not enough fitness instead of the over training claimed. Too intellectual instead of too emotional? Who’d have thunk it? Not NSC.
Back to Ferg and another tidbit I was told by someone with no reason to lie was that a lot of his absence / drop off was illness rather than injury last season.
Yep that’s the illness I’ve also heard about. He’s certainly got an ankle problem now. Both glandular fever and an ankle injury have been widely circulated. One of those would explain the drop-off in form, both would be compelling.
So that’s what the new fan zone will look like?Actually it looks like Pedro and Moder are in Marbella too. The guy that put this up just now, is in Marbella.

Glandular fever can be very, very nasty. Sometimes people (wrongly) compare it with a generic sore throat as part of a cold, but GF if not given time to fully recover (such as, say, with a professional sportsman desperate return to action when still under the weather) can be very serious indeed. Can lead to anemia, issues with liver, kidneys and even neurological issues. Both glandular fever and an ankle injury have been widely circulated. That’s one thing I never understood - what exactly all of those people did.I did wonder what this lot got up to and, by the sounds of your post, the answer might have been not much.

Interesting. I was one of those who thought over working players was probably the cause, never even considered the option you have suggested. It makes just as much sense thoughWhilst not talking about Ferguson specifically, I have it on very good authority that there was concern that RDZ's training methods may have contributed to last season's injury woes, but not in the way some have speculated about previously.
