A colleague of mine in Ireland got very excited when we signed Evan. He told me this kid was going to be a star but at the time, I thought he was getting a bit excited about a local boy signing for a Premier League team.

He told me his son is the same age as Evan and used to play against him in youth football. Always stood out as being a talent but also as a very well grounded kid. From this video it seems like he still is.

If he continues to improve which I think is likely , he could get 18- 20 goals next season if playing regularly. At his age that would put him in the £75m + price bracket !

The bloke is crap, terrible touch. All of his finishes have been lucky. He is slow, no idea what he is doing and I've heard he is a nightmare to manage on and off the pitch. Always in the pub. And likes a fag or 30 a day.

"Big" clubs should stay well clear.

If Man U want Ferguson (and if he wants to go there as there’s no guarantee of that) then IMO it would need a fee equivalent to what they paid for a 19 yo Rooney. So in today’s market that’s north of £100m. He’s the nearest I’ve seen to Shearer.

You might have a point. Technically, I suspect with the right equipment and depending on the size of the barn door, it might be possible to hit a cow's arse with it, rather than the other way around.

Although, that said, the more traditional banjo would be much easier to employ in the first instance.

Obviously, though, whatever we go with will open us to allegations of animal abuse and we wouldn't want PETA on our backs.

Thought he showed his quality the moment he came on. So strong. Loved that juggling that almost came off and led to a shot from someone else and the snap shot from the angle. He's going to be some player - even if he barely improves he'll be world class just through experience. If he improves dramatically he will be frighteningly good.

There is nobody, nobody, seeing him for the first time and not knowing his age that would think he's not in his twenties. His strength, his decision making, his maturity, his finishing, his touch.
