I wasn't thinking about you, Jack. It's the people who've had the knives out since he was announced because they though McKenna was the one. They never got past him being 2nd choice and as a result, have never really got behind him
I wasn’t convinced by the McKenna excitement either. Plenty of managers achieve promotion from the championship not many can manage in the PL effectively.

As has been proven in McKenna’s case. Dodged a bullet there I reckon.

As we are essentially safe already, Tony will see the season out barring another couple of catastrophic capitulations like Saturday or a full throated punch up on the training pitch. That seems sensible enough to me so I'd leave well alone for now and see what the rest of the season holds.

However...

We could all see the Saturday car crash unfolding the second the line up was announced. It astounds me that a professional coach couldn't. Weird.

Glad we are loaning him, if he finds his feet with game time, consistency and goals we have achieved the objective on someone elses payroll. If he turns out to have a bit of the Aaron Connolly about him, then at least we gave him the platform to find out.

The line up was was “interesting” but it did not look anything like a car crash before their jammy first goal imo

I am very ambivalent to FH and wouldn’t care if he was sacked but I’ll cut the guy a bit of slack with the injuries he has had to cope with and the failure of the club to sign defensive players. It is his first season at a level he has never coached at before.

Exactly my thinking. No knee jerk reactions needed. ( when have we under TB) Assess at end of season based on a number of factors;
Form til end of season, development of players, performance levels of team.

The dull part of the south coast
I certainly don't enjoy it when we lose 7-0, I've supported Huerzler for most of the season, I'm just not seeing anything that is beneficial if we keep him.
The general concensus at the beginning of the season was that we had a young manager with no Premier League experience, a group of young, promising players also not used to the PL and a zany system for playing those games. Bearing that in mind many pundits reckoned that we’d win and lose games in dramatic fashion - and so its proved.

The reality is that it would take at least a season to bed everything in - players, manager, tactics. Let’s see how we perform for the rest of the season before throwing FH under the bus. By the way, I certainly did not enjoy our 7-0 car crash in Nottingham either but it happened, it was shit, we move on.

We shouldn’t fall apart after conceding one goal jammy or not. The midfield was the obvious problem and why start Hinsh who hasn’t played for months? He has injuries fair enough the ridiculous decisions he’s making is the issue.

Correct.

There are lecturers, senior lecturers, readers and professors of after-timing on the University of NSC.

Evan Ferguson to West Ham TV after joining the Hammers on loan:

"It feels good to be here. Seeing the stadium and being here today, I’ve got a very good feeling.

"I can see and know how big West Ham United is. It was a big opportunity for me to come here. I know the gaffer well and look forward to working under him again.

"I want to come in and do my best for the club, score goals, and see where we get to."

I seem to recall that @Tom Hark Preston Park has a similar feeling about the Forest game, before KO.
