[Albion] Evan Ferguson - any injury updates?

I doubt it. We’d shift senior players around, out of position if necessary, before throwing in such a young, inexperienced lad to a Wembley cup semi final.

Groß will play right back
I think you have forgotten that the manager who shifted players about and played them out of position is now unemployed ? RDZ and his staff are with the players 24/7 and I'm sure he will make the right call ?

That’s dated from Saturday when he also said that injuries normally need to be assessed a few days after, …I don’t think you can rule out a recovery, but it’s surely more likely he’ll miss the game ..pity for the lad more than anything
Think it’s dated today. I thought the same as @Wozza hence I came to this thread - that’s new official news that he’s unfortunately out Sunday.

Not in the training photos - nor Veltman. Pretty much confirmation neither will play for me.

The Mac Allister interview is dated Tue 18 and, even if we assume that it was conducted on the same day, there would also need to be contact with RdZ in order for him to 'confirm' EF's absence for Sunday.
I'm not completely ruling out EF making the squad for Sunday yet. If RdZ indicates he will be out in his pre-match press conference, then I will. He tends to be pretty honest about injury situations.

These aren't the players you're looking for.

Realistically he needs to be able to train tomorrow, otherwise I’d say there’s very little chance 😞
Nonsense, if he wakes up on Sunday, feels fine and can pass a fitness test with the Physios, then he can make the bench.

It’s not 1998 anymore…..

He's 18 years old, knows his role and has had a week off.

As long as his injury has cleared up, he'll have no problem playing.

It's not as if he'd have lost physical fitness.

Just turned my ankle over and definitely won't be able to play Sunday, sorry folks. I'm not sure how quickly Evan can recover, but my injury at my age I'll be lucky to be back to full (comparative) fitness by the summer.

Me too. Sparined my ankle playing football on Tuesday night. Will be hobbling up Wembley way on Sunday.
