We all know the draw is on Friday morning, the 23rd February and the away game will be played just 13 days later on Thursday 7th March.

Realistically, when do you think the tickets will go on sale?

My guess would be that PB (and others) will be at the draw and will discuss allocations etc. on Friday with details (loyalty point bands/prices etc.) being announced latest the Monday 26th.

Thoughts?

I suspect that they've probably already decided the various loyalty point bands/windows based on the possible teams that we can draw. My guess is that those details will be announced over the weekend and tickets will go on sale on Monday 26th.
Yes, agree with that - how many will book flights etc. perhaps not knowing if they have enough points if we only have small allocation?

I reckon the details will be announced on Friday. They'll know the eight teams by Thursday night and they'll know the allocation for each of them. They could announce details within an hour of the draw ... nu they'll probably wait a few hours

I’m resigned to missing out on the away leg as I’m away on holiday and arriving back at LGW on the 6th ie day before. Even if I could get a ticket (far from likely) the thought of immediately getting onto another plane after a long flight, towing a suitcase full of dirty washing, doesn’t appeal.

In terms of maximising both available funds and also annual leave days, I'm considering giving this knockout round a skip (especially if we draw a 'lesser' team, if there's such a thing at this stage). I would probably change that view if we were to draw Milan though, as a trip to the San Siro wouldn't be one to miss.

The only thing that may be cautionary on booking flights is if both Lisbon clubs win their R32 ties, they both hold first leg advantages, they will both play home first leg in R16 if they win. They can't both play on Thursday 7th March.

If we get one of them it could be wed 6th?

Yes, that's true - at least we'll know that on Thursday evening....

Can’t see there being pre-registration for this.
Are Sheffield United points likely to count for this fixture?
Based on the last Sheffield United game, you’d assume they’ll be added before the end of this week. Would be nice for the Spurs ones to be added too…
