Hard hat already on because I know I'm going to get pelters here, but a way to avoid the "only here for the points" mentality would be to not reveal how many points is available for each game. They just get added after and only then do you find out. Would ensure that people are there to support the team and not 'other reasons'.
Not a bad idea, they could be allocated on how noisy we were, how original the songs were and our general behaviour, however on that last point they might deduct points in the case of beer luzzing for example

Does the reason really matter if it influences people to go to the game? Surely thats the entire logic behind Loyalty points? Would you prefer that only 1000 turned up yesterday but enryone one was there just for the footy?

:shrug:Most can work out which games will be 5,10 or 15. Those that really care about following the team don’t really care how many points are given.

Think if Baku was drawn there would be club charters organised. There are no UK direct flights
There are direct flights, take a look at
Azerbaijan Airlines, it's not a daily service but runs on alternative days.

This. Surely it’s a good thing that 1) it possibly encourages people to go to games 2) the tiers are not a closed shop.

To an extent, but there does seems to be an obsession with points, I get people are encouraged to go, but the conversation around it is carrying on a bit now, where people are actually going for the points. I think the away atmospheres are suffering a bit.

Is this seriously “a thing”?

Whatever happened to going to support the team?

Back in the day, we used to travel up and down the country, we were lucky if we got applauded by any of the players.
Not been there before. Went to support team. Took me to 68. Nothing to do with points (which will not be in time anyway)

Hope we don't get the winner of Freiburg v Lens. Two really boring cities by the looks of it.

hey guys - I am based in Asia but want to go to the city where we play our next Europa league game - no chance of me getting tickets but will there be many Albion fans also without tickets and watching in a bar? I heard this happened in group stages so would that bar be near the ground or in a designated fan area?

Just wondering if the opposition club will sell tickets direct to Brighton fans, as AEK ATHENS did when some of us sat in block 8? My only issue would be being sat with a few brainless BHA fans again, too pissed and/or stupid to realise cheering loudly in the home end isn't a good idea🤦🏼.
