Madness from Georgia v Luxembourg

Amazed that even got to the screen as a penalty check, it was clearly outside the box from the first viewing

So does the yellow card the mush got for over celebrating get rescinded as well?

I'm assuming the game restarted with a Georgia free kick outside the box?

It was a red card check as well, which was given……
I'm really puzzled by this. Presumably the 'goal' was ruled out because of the foul in the build-up (ie: at the other end). But how could that really be the case - there were 45 seconds between the foul at one end and the goal at the other - surely that is plenty of time to 'reset' or whatever they call it. I've certainly seen plenty of other incidents which have been deemed 'too long' before the goal to count.

And given that a penalty wasn't awarded anyway - was the check just for the red card? And even that seemed a bit harsh - because the only reason the Georgia player was through was because he had a full handful of the other defender's shirt.

All very odd.

I guess they waited for a break in play……..didn’t stop it immediately because the decision wasn’t simple.

I find this more our bloke versus the whingeing, diving arsehole wilson. if he doesn't play, then it'll be the welsh. But if the bellend plays, then it'll be our bloke

Proximity bias. Wales. I appreciate that proximity bias normally operates in the opposite direction, and that Wales would rather see China win than England, but it is Wales for me.

But I will cheer if JM scores. Just look at my face!

I will be supporting Poland.

Our Jakub is representing Poland and I would love to see him in this year's EUROs!

What do you do when Wales plays France / Belgium / Netherlands?

On the basis that other Home Countries always appear to want England to lose, and JM in their squad, Poland 👍
