Leandro Trossard must have moved a step nearer to Belgium's starting XI, now that Kevin De Bruyne is looking a doubt following his fractured nose and eye socket sustained in the Champions League Final.

Belgium play friendlies against Greece on Thursday, and Croatia on Sunday.
Their first Euro group game is against Russia on Saturday 12 June.

Fingers crossed that our young man can get some playing time.

Out of interest, does anyone know what kit England will wear for the group games (in particular the Czech game).

Gutted for JLingz, his form warranted a place in the squad and he's a massively popular member of the English set-up. Lovely touch from Southgate to let him play the game against Austria tomorrow.

I am genuinely gutted for him. I don't see any point Southgate playing him tomorrow, though. In that regard I share you scorn for the possibility he may.

Is amazing how Southgate can only pick 5 midfielders for the whole tournament ( and two of those are currently injured) but can pick 4 right back ..... we are doomed i tell ya

I think alot of the forwards are interchangable, only Kane is an out and out striker

Moder on the bench for Polska tonight against Russia. They are mixing up the team eg no Lewandowski.

Approaching HT, 1-1.

Live on Sky if anyone interested.

Had a chuckle when I saw Turkey playing Guinea in a friendly.

I guess there is a lot of fowl play going on.

Saka / Grealish / Foden all midfielders of sorts. Think 5 CM is ok. Bit heavy at right back but Trippier and Trent have played further forward before and James & Walker can play centre in a back 3. I don’t buy into the Talksport ‘there’s no big drama so let’s create one’ type vibe...

Come on then everyone - let's have your predictions;

Euro 2020

Winner - France.

Dark Horse - Turkey - top their group ahead of Italy.

Shock early exit - Germany. Come 3rd in their group and it's not enough for Best 3rd due to a draw with Hungary.

Golden Boot - Mbappe.

How far do England get? - Semis.

Mad shit that happens ((c) Football Ramble) - 3 dogs on the pitch in one single game.

First of England's warm-up friendlies on free-to-view ITV at 7.30 this evening.

Clashes (in part) with the highlights of the 1st. test and Springwatch. Tough call ................

I actually think Germany will do ok, they do tournament football better than anyone and having all 3 group games at home in Munich will be a big help. Sweden as dark horses, think they'll be pragmatic but they've got a reasonable group and if they qualify as expected in 2nd a winnable game in the 2nd round. Think Belgium will flatter to deceive and England's most likely exit is Round of 16.
