Out for too many reasons to list on here BUT do not let the pro-EU's con you with the "but the EU are our biggest trading partner so we'll crash and burn economically if we leave" argument. It's false and they know it.

If nothing else we should get out of a corrupt organisation that hasn't had it's accounts successfully audited for over a decade !

Whereas you'll have us believe we would be able to renegotiate favourable trading terms with all 26 nations whilst outside the EU. Either that or tell us we'll be alright because Switzerland and Norway seem to be doing alright.

Erm, no. Stay in with bells on. But no to the Euro, and we shouldn't be bailing it out.

Out please. As a country, we have no independence, all the while we're being governed by unelected and unqualified bigwigs in Brussels. UKIP all the way.

Care to explain how we couldn't negotiate the same terms as say Norway ? It's nothing to do with them seemingly "doing alright" - they have equal trading terms as EU members, whether they are economically "alright" is completely irrelevant.

And we wouldn't have to negotiate with all 26 countries as implied by your post - we would do it with just the EU.

Even better. Clearly we'd get absolutely bum raped in the negotiations with a trading bloc of 400m people.

in - I already live outside the EU in a country that has a larger population (workforce) and more growth and I can see clearly the advantages of being in the EU. They outweigh the disadvantages (altho there are many)... for now.

They do export to us as well you know ? Many German and French cars are sold here for example. So your argument for staying in is because we'd get "bum raped" when leaving ? No more than we get "bum raped" now ! Besides, we'd not get "bum raped" as the whole point of the deal ( i.e. the one Norway and co have ) is that they are EQUAL trading partners - i.e. not import / export taxes.

I'm 'In' .... but only just. And only then with a massive re-negotiation. For the first time ever if there was a referendum tomorrow with the choices as 'In' (as we are with no substantial re-negotiation) our 'Out' I'd vote Out. Wow. As someone who used to put their nationality as 'European' that's a sentence I never thought I'd write.

Let's avoid being marginalised, roll up our sleeves and get properly involved with the rest of Europe. If there's things we don't like, as a full member, we can try and change things for the better. IN.

I have to ask - you live in a country with better growth than any EU member and yet you think being in the EU would be a good thing ? The Eurozone is f***ed and it was predicted this week that it would remain f***ed for years while Britain's growth would easily outstrip any Eurozone members for years to come ( and no, it wasn't the government that said it ! ).

The only way to have successful trading terms is to produce 'widgets' cheaper and more efficiently than other countries.

Staying in some bloated, undemocratic and corrupt political project will never achieve efficiencies that might promote growth.

I happen to like Europe and they will remain important trading partners, but we do not need to give them undeserved back handers just to remain their friends.

So we will remain part of Europe, trading with those that wish to buy our goods and services and us with theirs, but to continue this unsustainable movement expecting southern European countries to economically act like the Germans has inevitably failed.
