• Boris Johnson, who probably doesn’t really care either way, but knows he’ll become Prime Minister if the country votes to leave
• Michael Gove, who probably doesn’t really care either way, but hopes he might Prime Minister if the country votes to leave
• A former Secretary of State for Work and Pensions who many thought carried out a brutal regime of cuts to benefits and essential support for the poorest in society as well as the disabled and sick
• The Education Secretary that every single teacher in the country hated with a furious passion for the damage he was doing to the education system
• Leader of UKIP
• BNP
• Britain First
• Donald Trump

Quite a lot of backing for a tin-pot outfit really.

Ian Botham seems to say Derrrrrr a lot to people who want to remain. But he does that a lot on Twitter anyway. One of the few people I can forgive for seeming to be a bit of a **** in real life. Still my all time sporting hero being a child of the late 70s/early 80s. But not sure I'll take his advice on politics though.

Ian Botham seems to say Derrrrrr a lot to people who want to remain. But he does that a lot on Twitter anyway. One of the few people I can forgive for seeming to be a bit of a **** in real life. Think you're being a bit optimistic there. Yes, Brighton is quite lefty but at least half of the people on this board come from areas outside of Brighton that are supposedly leave leaning, and this board is also dominated by over 40s, who are also supposed to be leave leaning.

Definitely can't fix it from the outside.

Actually I'm not so sure. We've been in the EU long enough, and it's been getting worse year on year, with us powerless to stop it. If we left the EU, they would have to take a long look at themselves and where it went wrong. Other countries would also consider leaving, for similar reasons as us. It's quite possible the EU would then change, rather than collapse.

Top pendantry with my leaky roof analogy though.

I don't think it'll make any difference. Many Scottish people feel Scottish rather than British, and wanted independence despite the financial benefit they get from being in the EU. And that's also despite the fact that they joined us over 300 years ago. We've fought together for centuries, ruled an empire together, but they still see themselves as Scottish not British. So there's literally no hope that the countries of Europe will ever put their neighbours ahead of themselves.

That's not to say the Europe can't work, of course we can all get along and trade to each others benefit. But to pretend countries will ever put Europe ahead of themselves is naive, it just won't happen.

It's not about what politicians or organisations that think we should leave...It's about the public who live in the real world.
Why do you need big names to sway your vote?
Big names that are all about the corporate fat cats or the "in" politicians who just take the easy route and don't have the balls to take Britain to the next level.

80% of voters knew a long time ago what they were voting for

Remember most of these high rollers are in it for their pockets only and not for the average joe on the street

I'm struggling to understand this point das. Can you clarify please, why the 180,000 we currently take in from outside the EU, would be affected by tomorrow's vote?

What exactly is it, that we don't "have our say" on, that is stopping us reduce these numbers right now?
