Glad im out of it. Rather not be living in the UK as it goes down the pan on the basis of bullshit the nitwits have soaked up. Its all about 'winning' for them now. Not the countries prosperity, and childrens future.
Not seen any explain the positives other than ethereal bullshit, along with any pain ''wont be forever.'' They wont say how long though.
They believed it would be an easy deal. It isnt.
They believed the German car industry will pressure the German government. It didnt.
They believed they could just replicate current deals. They cant.
They believed the steel industry would collapse unless they left the EU. Well.
They believed the UK would get its 'sovereinty' back. It was never lost.
They believed the UK would have more control over immigration. The mechanism was there, the British government never applied it.
They believe Farage. Probably the funniest part of it,
Im guessing they believed there was a thought out Brexit plan in place. Now we know there never was.

PS. You do understand that this parliament you are voting in can't enact Brexit, and that all the while all you Brexiteers are arguing over what you want, we are staying in the EU. So you are voting for people who won't turn up, engage or fight for Britain's interests whilst constantly extending our membership.

If you are happy with the assumption (made generously on your behalf, by John Major, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown) that you want to be part of the EU, then vote for any party whose name doesn't start with a B. Or don't vote at all.

If you believe in a nation state, with a Government accountable to it's own people, vote Brexit.

I'd have more respect for the Brexit party and its voters if they could give us a solution to the Irish border that doesn't rip up the Good Friday agreement. At the end of the day, this is what has delayed our EU exit, and Farage simply doesn't want to recognise that, and instead trots out populist crap about betrayal. Get a deal done that respects the mandate, but with a nod to the paper thin majority. I wouldn't trust the Brexit party to be remotely helpful in any way.

The only good thing about this shambles is that is has decimated both main parties, who have enjoyed their cosy duopoly for too long.

I believe that the Town of Brighton should be a separate state, accountable to it's own people. If I keep voting for Brighton councillors in national elections, that will definitely make it happen

or

They can deliver 'No deal' with a hard border in NI, 10s of Billions of investment and infrastructure to get ready for it, being the only country in the world solely on WTO terms and the resultant impact on the economy and political situation in NI.

It just seems that there isn't a majority for either of the two solutions which are possible

The real issue is that the type of Brexit being proposed was never specified in the vote and specifically the NI border was never considered before the 2016 vote. With Brexit winning, the whole process is the subject of an attempted hijacking by those who are hell bent on leaving regardless of the cost.

A no deal Brexit would never have won in 2016, a Brexit where free movement across Ireland was compromised would never have won in 2016. Yet we find duplicitous Brexiteer politicians insisting that the paper thin 2016 victory gives them carte-blanche to do as they please. When this is challenged, they fall back to their populist betrayal mantra. May was too weak to stand up to this within her own party, and Labour are too weak to make a proper decision on what to do. My conclusion is that the politicians in the two big parties are collectively as useless as they have ever been in my lifetime. They are so poor that they run scared of a populist tosser with no real answers to the big issues - he doesn't even bother hiding it, as he hasn't got a manifesto - and who has never won a single general election and has previously been beaten by a man dressed as a dolphin.

We'll get the country we deserve, and it won't be a prosperous or safe one.

In some ways this proves the point. As you said, that's ONE coalition in 60 years, and when it came to end which of the two parties was punished? That's right - the little one. They were hammered. And with hindsight, you really have to ask why.

You unashamedly voted for Brexit and there ought to be nothing wrong with you making a choice based on the question on the ballot paper. You're now happy to leave the detail to the politicians who asked the question.

Nothing wrong with any of that. I'd now expect to be able to trust the politicians to act in the national interest and deliver the best outcome for the nation, yet we see nothing but self serving politicians high-jacking the process. A possible return to a terror campaign in Ireland is not part of the deal, and nor was thousands of British businesses going to the wall overnight because of a potential no-deal outcome. Yet this is what we are faced with and it is absolutely shameful.
