Not seen it mentioned anywhere else.

As these are new seats, will we have to have a ramp up event for the new seats? Possibly only have two thirds of the ESU available for a pre-season friendly?

One of the downsides of being in the East, is staring into the sun when the weather's good. Do you think some of the seats in the East Upper will be high enough to be unaffected by the constant south coast sunshine?

Hav a look at YouTube re Blackpool game...the sun missed the last couple of rows in lower...I checked the Pompey game and tht wouldnt hav hit upper tier either...mayb mid winter might get a few rows and hey if it's mid winter I'd want the sun on my face.....I found a baseball cap was more thn adequate to keep sun out of my eyes in east lower

Just out of interest. Does your keyboard hate vowels?

There was quite a bit of activity yesterday, nothing much different in the East but they had started ripping out the concrete floor in the concourse behind the South. Looked organised though, big slabs were being lifted out carefully rather than it being smashed and loaded into skips. The staff on the ST appointment did say that you will still be able to walk through from the West to our part of the South as you could this season.

Midwinter and the sun is almost down at 3 o'clock or hidden by the mighty West stand!

Won't the sun be worse the higher you are? I sit in the East lower and it's not a problem btw.

Fair enough. was thinking about the angle between sun, top of west stand and east stand.

TB has paid for the sun to be moved during our games to ensure no one is inconvenienced in our lovely home, this of course will not apply to the away fans.

Indeed, as a new SW ST, my worry is I will freeze to death in the sunless north facing corner. I am going out Captain Scott, I may be some time.

Had a quick look at the East this afternoon and from what I could see all the steel work to support the concrete terracing is in place and I must say even just that looks impressive. Its gonna be some Stadium.
