A few points:

The song was created by Argentinian fans in the build up to the world cup final.

The line about trans people is actually "they sleep with trans like fecking Mbappe does" in reference to his relationship with a trans model.

In the video they are actually singing another song then switch to the France one until someone shouts "cut the video" as they were aware of the consequences. Enzo clearly isn't the sharpest tool in the box.

And yes, it does rhyme in Spanish.

Racism and discrimination alive and well in Argentina it seems, then. Christ.

Why do they give a f*** about france, anyway!?

Lalalalalalala they get spanked in wars
Doobedooh they let their generals throw their citizens out of planes
Mums still have to protest to find out where the fck their kids disappeared to.
Loads of natural resources yet they have slums everywhere, the third world cnts.
No wonder the people of Malvinas want nothing to do with them.
And Eva Peron was a slag.

I wonder if my "hilarious" ditty scans in French? I mean I'm sure no offence would be meant if it did.

It’s some beef to do with the WC. France knocked out Argentina in 2018 and then Argentina beat them in the last final.

“Fernandez's Chelsea team-mate Wesley Fofana, who has one cap for France, posted an image of the video on Instagram describing it as "uninhibited racism".”

It's jarring at times to be reminded that footballers, for all their talent and fame and money, are actually just people and some people actually are just f**king bellends.

It'll be interesting to see how Chelsea handle this. A nice headache for their new manager.

Chelsea have a £107 million problem

I'm not sure how they could bring him back into the team after that video/I don't know who'd buy him for that sort of money
No they haven’t, just look at United and Greenwood, he should have been sacked, wasn’t because that would have meant losing £m on an ‘asset’, had that been back room staff it would have been P45 time. As someone posted earlier, top level football clubs and morals split up ages ago.

Seems like Enzo could get off lightly:

"Chelsea Football Club finds all forms of discriminatory behaviour completely unacceptable.

"We are proud to be a diverse, inclusive club where people from all cultures, communities and identities feel welcome.

"We acknowledge and appreciate our player’s public apology and will use this as an opportunity to educate.

"The club has instigated an internal disciplinary procedure."
