A player with a much better pedigree than our lad. The PL is played at a very fast pace, Gross has said he got caught out by it, Davy P struggled for a good while, Trossard is finally looking consistent in his third season, Biss took time and we need to give Mwepeu time not slate him after a handful of minutes in the PL.

Looked off the pace a bit, and wasnt getting close enough to whoever he was meant to be marking but grew into it minute by minute. The coaches seemed to be giving him some feedback during an injury stoppage and was much better after that. Takes a while to get used to the PL.

Ironically, we’re very lucky here because Mwepu has time with the astonishing amount of quality central midfielders we have. Cucu need to be quality from the off, luckily he is.
Wonder whether this was the moment to introduce him TBH, maybe Moder should have got the nod ahead of him as experience when battling to see out a game against a tough team

Clearly needs time. Luckily he should get plenty of it with the depth we have in midfield.

Give him time. GP will have learnt to ease him in. I remember Bissouma in the cup versus Sheff Wed a few seasons back and thinking he’s rubbish!

Most of his misplaced flicks put us instantly under pressure. There is a time and place for showcasing but sadly infront of your penalty area isn't one of them. Hopefully it's just a blip

To clarify, when I say PlayStation generation I mean kids who’ve grown up on FIFA playing online against people etc and using nauseating language to wind up the opposition.
