I'm convinced that English Sparkling wine is simply a euphemism for German Liquids. ???

Just about for pop the cork. Happy Fridat!

Introduced some friends of ours to Nyetimber Classic Cuvee at the Black Horse in Amberley this Lunchtime, they both thought it was superb.

As was the Lunch by the way, if you are down this way it IS expensive but I would say approaching Michelin standard.

Happy Fridat Herr T and everyone else!

I walk around the Nyetimber vineyards quite often as it's not far from my house (I've seen them hosting parties in their barn and house and also seen the people they employ to help pick their grapes - quite a contrast in riches between the two), but I've never actually drunk any of their wine. Maybe I ought to buy a bottle in for a special occasion.
