369 all out, just before lunch. Perfect result IMO, now let out bowlers loose in overcast swingy conditions.

Yes. With the weather likely to take time out of the game, England need to move on, and get into the Windies batting order.

Yep good thing getting bowled out - otherwise Root may have batted us out of a result. Bad weather predicted for remaining days , we need the game to progress at a speed.

Just noticed that these Pair NOW have 1082 Test Wickets, I wonder if any Stattos know if there was ever such a productive pair bowling at the same time?

I'm guessing McGrath and Warne might have been close?

Broad and Anderson really are a sight to behold in English conditions. 5 down.

Umpires are absolutely obsessed by light meters, big massive f**k off flood lights, hundreds of thousands have gone into getting this series on and we are off for bad light again, all this knowing we are going to lose overs in the match. Farcical.

Warne 708
McGrath 563*

* McGrath was the leading wicket taker of pace bowlers when he retired. Jimmy overtook him & now on 587

 Woakes chops on. How annoying is it when commentators say a bowler has bowled a good ball when a batsman chops the ball on to the stumps, it’s a poor shot.

Agreed, and having just watched the highlights [recorded] it was the easiest ever back-foot no-ball for an umpire to give but these internationals don't give no-balls unless it's DRS reviewed - and who's gonna call for that when the bails have gone flying?

Poor cricket all round .... poor delivery, poor shot, poor umpiring and poor old Woakes ....

Question to all you Fast Bowlers out there, past & present, does overstepping by an inch or so actually give you any advantage?

Holding reminds us the benefit of the doubt goes to the bowler, there is doubt, then it gets given not out. Only Woakes second ever no ball in 33 tests. I'm not convinced about that decision at all.

It's the principle behind it, how much leeway would be fair, a Foot, a Yard? Where does it end? You have to have a defined line otherwise a batsman would have virtually no time to get in to position to play the ball.... Says a medium pacer who bowled Off and Leg Cutters.
