this german team is pony. cole will have their only good player in his pocket (turkish guy), and their forwards have 17/18 goals between them this season (pudolski, mueller, klose)...

Watch to see of Gerrard actually plays on the left. In the second half especially. It is bloody daft to put him wide left. In the channels on the left he is just going to run into a traffic jam, so it is inevitable Gerrard drifts to the right. And this is a good thing. As long he does not bump into Lampard.

Should smoking be allowed in pubs during penalty shoot-outs?

The only way to take a penalty is to kick the ball into the net.

In the corner of the net, hard and low. Best to the left of the keeper if he is a natural right hander. Never down the centre.

In the only penalty I took during my brief career, I dummied to kick it to the keeper's left, and rolled it in the other corner as the keeper dived the wrong way. The keeper would have nearly saved it if he had dived the right way.

Jesus, just had a messy shit so must be nervous (or was it the 4 pints of Oyster Stout and a bottle of wine I had last night) ?

Keep Ozil and Schweinsteiger quiet and we have every chance of winning. If either of those two are allowed to play their own game, we'll be in trouble.

Why doesn't Rooney sing the national anthem - Irish roots or something?

Neither should be in the team if they have no pride in playing for the country.

Its KO. England don't look nervy, but that means f*** all. But it is better to watch. Neither do the Germans.
