Upson and Johnson should NEVER be selected to play for England again. Did Emily Heskey actually touch the ball more than twice in 20 minutes ? David James was my MOM , the rest played like they couldn't give a f*** for the whole game but only for brief periods. The most important question is whether Capello will resign before being sacked.

That is it. No more defending our players. When the defeatists come on here with the same old "England will never anything" I will not rise to the bait. We were shit. Why ? Who knows.

Just not good enough. If the good goal was allowed, I think we would have lost 2-3.

The illusion (which I never had) is gone. In one way this is a bit of a relief. The formation was too rigid and may no allowance of the shortcomings of our players, e.g. the central defence being too slow and Gerrard only seeing in the right direction, and Defoe being inadequate (compared to Lineker or Michael Owen in the past). Capello did well to get us to the World Cup in the first place. But he does not seem to bring out the best in our players. Not that anything he do to make Upson or Terry or Carragher or King run faster. Klose scored because Upson was just too slow.
