I hope not one player bursts into tears at the end as this is a spineless performance

On a brighter note, we don't need to whine about the goal that never was.

Won't stop some people "if that had gone in it would have been 2-2 and momentum on our side..." I remember the orient game where our mistakes led to us losing a 1-0 lead, and everyone blamed the ref for not giving the penalty when dickinson was clearly brought down.

Some people will focus on an injustice even when other factors are in play, partly because the culture of football is 'blame the ref/laws of the game', partly because some people think you should never ever criticise the players, even when they underperform and the criticism is an honest appraisal.

What I find incredible is that the US manage to get to the same stage of the tournament as us when their players and coach are on about 1/10th of the salary that are overpaid prima donnas are.

This is a worse world cup for england than 2006 isnt it? I thought after limping out last time that that was as bad as it was going to get but apparently there are new lows for this team to sink to.

I'm just going to concentrate on the Albion from now on. International football can f*** right off.

The problem is this celebrity lifestyle these players have, they swan about getting paid millions of pounds, reading over inflated opinions of themselves in the tabloids which they believe whole-heartedly like the gullible, moronic twats that they are. There needs to be a cap on foreign players in the domestic game and a cap on players wages, including how much they can earn via sponsorship deals.

At the moment they don't want to play for their country and it's quite obvious that the majority of these premiership fuckwits can't wait to get back to the security of their club where they'll be wrapped up in cotton wool and treated like a little lord. There is no fight, no passion and no heart.

I really hope they all the get the abuse they rightfully deserve during the whole of next season.

Wankers.

In a funny way it's times like this when I feel bloody glad to be a Brighton fan;

When I see people in Chelsea, Man U tops etc strolling round Brighton or any other town in Sussex, no doubt getting as pissed off as we are today, come August they'll be sitting in their armchairs or in the pub drooling over the likes of Lampard et al and how great they are. And you can probably count on one hand the amount of times they've been to see their club play.

At least we've got something to look forward to!!

The parallels with England's defence today and Russell Slade's defence is astounding!

Germany were by miles the better team - however as we all know, in football sometimes the worst team wins. But it is difficult for that to happen when they have equalisers disallowed that were a yard over the line.

You cannot possibly say that that goal, just before half-time, didn't materially affect the outcome of the match. Of course it did, you need those decisions even more against a better side. OK, maybe not outcome, but the way it unfolded.

Having said that, we defended like clowns, they cut through us at will, and it could easily have been even worse.

In my heart I thought we would win this. In my head, I suspected we would lose. I didnt expect humiliation.

Have to agree with this, mostly because I can't remember seeing an English side so defensively inept in a long, long time.

Exactly what i thought. We are so far away from so many other nation in terms of creativity, touch, skill and passing.

How many other countries play their captain out of position??

Premier League can f*** right off. I have had enough.

My feelings entirely. No interest in the overpaid prima donnas. Give me the lower leagues any day.
