Beckham showed again that had he been in the Euro qualifiers we would have probably qualified witha goal or two from his crosses.

Who were the singers who sang our anthem and who sang the USA's?

England really are dire. Going down the tubes gradually towards a decade of non-qualification for major tournaments.

Wonderful stuff.

Whereas Scotland on the other hand are on the up - looking forward to the days of us going away for tournaments and you staying at home watching

A much improved England performance at a vibrant Wembley. After the first goal went in you could tell the confidence increase and some of the passing football after that was a joy to watch.

On the terraces!!
my 1st game at Wembley. was in a box with work clients on the halfway line above Bobby Charlton.

thought the ground was AMAZING - shame there were about 19,000 empty seats - then again at £50 a pop for an end of season friendly i wouldn't pay that either!!

not much atmosphere but when it started was very loud. game was boring but i enjoyed about 10 minutes watching the mexican wave go round til i got dizzy!!

My first game at the new Wembley - has no atmosphere whatsoever. I was surrounded by empty seats and men in suits but at least the "can you sit down and stop singing please" brigade made me feel right at home.

Funny, on Sunday pretty much the whole crowd stood all game!

Dear oh dear

Why dear oh dear? He's not far off the mark at all. England played pretty well and the USA barely had a sniff...

What have Eng got to do to make some NSC posters happy? I honestly find it hard to believe that so many Albion fans slag Eng off - we're used to far worse and we dominated a game last night

I thought England played pretty well, Gerrard and Beckham in particular
