Funny how it's not the new guys that are struggling.

The brave move would be to say to Cook, stand down for the India series, go back to Essex and spend a good couple of months out of the spotlight, perhaps to come back as captain still.

I'd perhaps say the same for Jimmy Anderson, or for at least a couple of tests.

Lets have use the India series to have a fresh look at some emerging talent and the future of this team. Ali, Ballance, Robson, Jordan, Plunkitt, Root have all shown they can perform under pressure. Lets give Bell a shot at captaincy, maybe even as a temporary measure, have a look at another opener.

This team needs a drastic shake up if you ask me.
