Someone tweeted the Barmy Army yesterday that they should sing "Moeen, Moeen, Moeen, Moeeeeeen" to the tune of Dolly Parton's "Jolene".

Have I been able to get that out of my head for the past 24 hours? No.

And now you won't either

Singing? at cricket? whatever next??

Well not at Lord's, obviously, goodness gracious no.

Last time I was at Lords, I was told off by a steward for texting in sight of the pitch and told the second time that if I was caught again i'd be out.

It's fine to drink too much cognac with your lunch and fall asleep in your padded seat in the Members' area of the Pavilion though.

I'd imagine that Root would QUITE like a 200. Probably not massively impressed by Jimmy's reverse sweep!

Good to see almost the entire Sri Lankan team congratulating Root on his way off. Nice to see. :clap2:

Very well done Joe Root. Sterner tests await but that should do his confidence the world of good.

Lets see how good this pitch really is when Anderson, Broad, Jordan and Plunkett have a bowl on it. Pretty excited to see Plunkett get a bowl, I hear he's been pretty rapid this year.

Brilliant Joe Root, my 8-year old son will be pleased as he's his favourite player. I'll be far more comfortable watching the cricket highlights than the Brazil highlights from last night.
