England well back in the game at 105 for 4

Glad Harmison is back, he has looked the best bowler who played against us all season, look tidy and difficult to play.

It's one of those great sessions to watch. Shame it's all too late.

I hope Harmison - who has been superb - is a bit humble in his comments tonight. He seems to think he's been wronged in some way by the pundits. But all they pointed out, rightly, was that he's been utter bollocks for England since 2005.

He owes England, not least for a shameful display in Australia and generally resting on his laurels, and now he needs to just knuckle down and make sure he's in the team and bowling well next summer.

6 down, Anderson again as Boucher edges to Ambrose.

They've got quite a tail now, these Saffers.

Great first day for England and KP. I didn't watch any of it, but I'd imagine the extra seamer made all the difference. Great to see GBH back on form, lets just hope he can keep it up. Should be another good days cricket if the rain holds off, all the better because i'm off work :yahoo::drink:

I was lucky enough to be at the Oval yesterday, what a great days cricket for England. Harmy ripping out Amla's middle stump the ball after getting Smith was the best moment of the day.
