England: 1 Alex Hales, 2 Jason Roy, 3 Joe Root, 4 Eoin Morgan (capt), 5 Ben Stokes, 6 Jos Buttler (wk), 7 Sam Billings, 8 Adil Rashid, 9 Chris Jordan, 10 Liam Plunkett, 11 Steven Finn

New Zealand: 1 Brendon McCullum (capt), 2 Martin Guptill, 3 Kane Williamson, 4 Ross Taylor, 5 Grant Elliott, 6 Mitchell Santner, 7 Luke Ronchi (wk), 8 Nathan McCullum, 9 Matt Henry, 10 Trent Boult, 11 Mitchell McClenaghan

Morgan is a useless tosser... McCullum has inserted.

Jason Roy and Alex Hales at the top of the order... a bit of a change from Alastair Cook and Ian Bell :)

We'll probably lose, but that selection is a step in the right direction.

About time Hales is given a decent run in the side. Exciting line up. Hope we have a few that can push for an Ashes series place. Seem to remember KP being thought of as an ODI specialist as we went into the 2005 Ashes...

Wow, that is an explosive batting line-up, the bowling has pace and leg spin. This is the sort of way most teams set up in ODI's now.

I don't doubt NZ will murder us but this is a much more modern looking outfit.

Leg spin is a bit of a risk, but I am glad to see a front line spinner in there, rather than trying to botch it with Ali.

Much better looking line up - Win or lose, its a step in the right direction!

Isn't Billings a WKT as well? Will he or Buttler keep?
