We’ve not (yet) made 300 in our 1st innings on a flat pitch so I wouldn’t be setting off fireworks but yes it’s nice to see others taking some of the strain off Sir Joe.

I think we're getting battered. Lead of 171 and 7 wickets in hand, 2 full days to come. Would take a draw at this point.

As per usual when faced with a tough 4th innings chase we'll roll over and let them tickle our tummies. We lost this test yesterday, Day 3 at the Oval has always been the best day to bat and it was criminal to throw wickets away and not get at least some use of it.
