stephen gerrard - fit on Sunday to play for his club. Finished the game
stephen gerrard - unfit on Wednesday to captain his country. That's how much players value "meaninlgess internationals"

except of course, all they do is let you down.

oh and play shite football

The Albion sometimes let us down in certain ways?

I guess i've just been brought up to love football and that includes club and country - nothing compares to World Cup or Euros watching England - even though it is usually on tele...

Yes i agree it's sick - but maybe Liverpool FC or Steven Gerrard himself dont hold the same value for England that fans like myself do...

he has a broken toe and said long before Satdee he'd play for Liverpool with an injection in it but would not play in the England FRIENDLY !!

I shall be watching, and of course i will want us to win, but something is telling me i am going to be watching a very boring 0-0. If it wasn't for the fact of the opposing team being the most hated (in my case) international side, i'doubt i would bother.

I'll be watching. I always do. What are the alternatives? Constipation St, Hollyoaks, Os big wine adventure?

No thanks. We've got mates coming over for a drink and to watch football. A much better choice for the evening. If the football is boring we can rip McClaren to shreds and have a good chinwag instead.

In my computer
I'm watching over the top of the laptop where I'm searching for clothes on ebay (for Goodwood) and trying to make sense of the english test I have to sit to get through my next stage of residency - f***ing unbelievable...
