No reason not to. Something is wrong with him,.

He's a complete and utter liability at the moment. At least Rashford can run.

Brighton would smash this England side to bits. There is almost no tactics or thought behind England’s play. Utter utter shite.

Penalties or 1-0 to Germany.

Would that be the same Brighton who found it impossible to breakdown a defensive side which offered very little going forward?

If it is I find that hard to believe.

I kept falling asleep in that first half. Dull dull dull.

FFS Southgate, grow a pair and freshen it up a bit.

History is repeating itself with Kane’s constant inclusion. We did much the same with Rooney at major tournaments, playing him again and again even though the end product simply wasn’t there after 2006. I find England very hard to love, as we always seem to have too many sacred cows blocking a route to the team for form players.

Seem to be against the grain here but I thought we had a good first half, the only two players lacking really are Kane and Shaw. Yes we had a shit first 10 mins but there's huge pressure on the players, and once we got into it we were playing fast and attacking football (Saka is on fire). We've had a good few chances, just have to slot it in, and be careful of the germans potential rapid counter-attacks.

Bit worried about both our holding midfielders being on a yellow.

The way we're playing, we'll need 11 on the field at the end of the game to have a chance.

Get one of them off and bring on Bellingham who both knows the German game and has some creativity as a box-to-box midfielder.

Foden and Grealish both have to feature at some point also, though they may being held back for the additional 30 mins.

Boooo. ****ing booooooooooo. This is desperately poor. So negative. Crowd oleing sarcastically with every sideways and backwards pass at one point. Extremely lucky to be level, good save Pickford. Maguire our best outfield player. Kane has lost every single header and appears unable to run. There's being a yard off the pace, and being a furlong off the pace. I suspect he is playing with injuries. He is not good enough to be on the pitch right now at this level - in fact he looks like he won a competition to be there.

Rice shockingly poor. £100m??? Bissouma is twice the player at half the price.

Absolutely miserable performance. Same negative shit as we've offered all tournament so far.

Oh, one other thing, twice if it wasn't for outstanding interceptions by Maguire, Germany would have been clean through, once with Havertz, once with Werner. Shaw horribly out of position both times, Stones covering the gap he left, leaving a massive hole for Germany to run into.

Not a single mention or replay of those though.

Havertz running at will between our CB’s. Southgate should’ve got instructions out to adapt and stop it.

You could see Joachim Lowe making adjustments throughout.

Agree with this with the much cited ‘experience of major tournaments’ which always forgets to mention it’s experience of failure

Get Kane off for Calvert-Lewin, get Rice off for Mount, play with a more progressive formation and just one holding midfielder, get Shaw off for feckin' anybody, he's having a nightmare

As soon as the line ups and formations were announced it was going to be a game of chess.

Hard to know if that will change.

Especially since both of those cards were borderline red. Very little margin for any of them to **** up now.
