The only loyalty in football is the supporters,I appreciate what potter did changing our style for the better but I would never welcome him back. And the back room staff who followed him can f*** off ,your not welcomed at Brighton .disloyal money chasing ccc nts
I am not sure that is wholly correct. Looking back, Brighton “ fans “ deserted us in droves as we struggled at the goldstone. Very few could be arsed to go and support a very poor side at gillingham and we hardly had a 10,000 season ticket waiting list at withdean

Of course everyone who had “ always been a die hard Brighton fan” suddenly came out of the woodwork when we got our nice shiny stadium and when you listen to fans even today you would have thought we had 20,000 fans at gillingham and every away at the time

As similar to the rewriting of history about Gus who many of the “ experts” on here still don’t acknowledge the fact that he transformed our little seaside habitual underachievers and yo yo side into a foundation where hughton and potter could develop the side we have now

Only a fool would deny that Poyet overnight (Stains away) transformed us, brilliant times. With some cute purchasing by the club.

But it went sour towards the end. Showing an interest in job offers, as well as media politicking about our spend when TB was already pumping in £ 8-figures per season.

I think it was always going to be that way and reading some of the posts on here about RDZ you can see the parallels, especially a couple of weeks ago when it was obvious he isn’t going to be rushed into signing a new contract and his obvious frustration with the January window.

There does seem to be a groundswell of opinion that RDZ has had his time here and some of the geniuses on here would like him gone ( or sad wind up merchants) which although I get very frustrated with our play at times, I appreciate this is the very best of times and personally I am not convinced that we haven’t now “ hit the ceiling” and this season was our “Leicester city moment”.

It’s obvious we can’t complete with the top 6 clubs in terms of finance and yes I expect those chelski guys to be back up there and we will continue to nurture young talent to sell them and make money to buy further young ones

Just to add to the drama - I do think G Potter would make a good England manager, but I do think it's quite an unenviable position.
I think you might be right and given they gave Southgate the job with no track record at all, then Potter is actually more qualified to do it.

Maguire ruled out of the Belgium game and has left the squad.

Looks like Dunk might get a chance to redeem himself tomorrow.
