Chris Waddle, speaking on 5 Live earlier today, revealed that a 'source' in the England squad has told him that the players are "bored rigid" at their training camp and that there's growing dissatisfaction and resentment with Capello's strict regime.

(Interestingly, he said that during Italia '90 Gazza would always make sure the players got a few bottles of wine at dinner, they all went for beers together in-between fixtures and they roomed together).

I heard this too. Shut up moaning if you ask me; either they want to play for their country or not. Im sure there are a fair few who would rather be where they are now

I think he has lost the dressing room, perhaps not in such spectacular fashion as Domenach but he still lost it all the same.

Terry can't be happy at losing the captaincy, Green situation, Joe Cole not getting a look in, Gerrard playing on the left & James's interview, it all points all points to disharmony.

Poor guys, having to train and not get pissed up each night must be a right kick in the teeth when they see all the fans having such a wonderful time

I don't quite know where i'm going with this. But there is something to be said about the english mentality of bonding through alcohol, [and football!]. you would have thought pearce would have a handle on that.

Doesn't surprise me, they've been holed up in Austria and now Rustenberg for 4 weeks now isn't it? I can see that grown men being kept under a strict regime would give rise to some resentment. Could go some way to explain why the team spirit has all but dissapeared.

I can sympathise with them when you consider that they're effectively giving up their holidays and the whole squad gives their fee to charity.

or it points to 24hour media needing to justify their meal ticket on the fifa gravy train.

Terry can't be happy at losing the captaincy.....

From what I've seen of Terry he should have been left at home with Walcott, so he's got nothing to be unhappy about.

If you are a manager, in any organisation, surely a large part of the job is getting the best out of the people who work for you.

Something is definately wrong in the England camp at the moment. The players look tense, uncertain, unhappy and all of that is being reflected in their game. They should be enjoying playing in the World Cup. At the moment it looks like an enormous millstone around their necks.

I just believe Capello would get more out of his players if he just cut them some slack instead of treating them like school kids.

Whatever has happened to Rooney, it's only been in the past couple of days because before that everyone was saying he was the squad joker/clown in the hotel.

Probably pissed off because he's not allowed to shag any African grannies.
