He is an awesome player, trying too hard, being fed lines by his representation that isn't helping him with Fab or with his own state of mind.... he will be worth a lot in a few years, sadly I see us offloading him whilst the current manager is in situ.

I don’t know how anyone is coming on here to judge a guy who looked our most threatening attacker for much of the game, when this was his first start of the season and he’d barely played 200 minutes before that point, with it now being December. And the guy is, what, 20?

If that’s what he produces on his first start of the season, imagine what he’d be doing if he’d been given a run of games.

Him and Gruda looked very good especially first half, and both worked themselves to a standstill.

We seem to have a reluctance to shoot though, I didn’t mind the shots over the bar because at least we were having an attack ending in a shot rather than it being turned over from one pass too many.

Enciso can shoot and needs to be encouraged to do so.

Gruda looks to be a bit one footed, left, he mostly turned onto his left then got blocked out.... he looks a player though.

Enciso has been told by Fab and the media, "don't be greedy".... so he passes or gets caught in prolonged possession...edit :in positions where just year he would have shot.

Didn’t he have more shots than anyone else?
Yes, but on more than one occasion last night, you could see, in situations that last year would have seen a speculative shot from outside the box, he hesitated and passed or lost the ball.... almost as if his masters orders need to be followed.

Damned if you do. Damned if you don’t, I guess.

Sell him now when he still has some value.

Keep him

He offers something different.
He shoots often with a high percentage on target.

Impact sub or starter against a team playing a low block.
Won't always work, but nothing does.

Loan him out to an environment where people demand things from him rather than take every opportunity to suck his toes.

Statistically speaking this is a player who needs five times as many chances as Aaron Connolly to score a goal.
He needs to play somewhere where he needs to perform to be considered a super talent/superstar instead of in Brighton where he can do nothing game after game and still be fan favorite/messia.

He needs to learn and he won't do that in a place where the fans love him for always taking the wrong decision.
