Please tell me you were under 12 at the time though?

I used to love the Royal Court. I seen loads there -The Soup Dragons, House of Love, Wedding Present, [you'd never guess what era I was a student!]

I was under 12 KFC, although I really was a massive fan of their work and remember the gig in it's entirety.

Obviously you were at Uni in the pool,

The Royal Court used to stage all the "cool" acts and the Empire used to stage all the "Big" acts...although I have Just remembered that I saw Eddie Grant at the Royal Court, and shook his hand.

Probably Worse than the Wombles that, as I was definitely mid teens at that time.

Not so much embarrassing for me, but certainly for the people on the stage...

I was at the Pukkelpop festival a few years ago watching Ice Cube play on the main stage. For the first 20 minutes he kept trying to big-up his gangster rapper credentials by interpersing every song with calls of "Yo muthafuckers! Holland is in the house!", and couldn't understand why 30,000 people were giving him the finger and yelling "f*** off!" back at him.

Until someone on stage handed him a piece of paper saying "You're in Belgium, you f***ing idiot!"

It was quite endearing watching him die with shame on the big TV screens, and after that he dropped the hardman charade and actually came across as quite a nice guy...

The music was still shit though...

I was at the mighty Liverpool Polytechnic, graduating in the year that it became the John Moores University. We had to fight the Uni to get 'Liverpool Polytechnic' on our degrees.

I lived in Aigburth, met my missus, played footie for the Poly, played Lancs league cricket for Aigburth and for Liverpool, and had the best 3 years of my life.

Great city.

Got to agree, although I lived in the "one eyed city", which is really a crock of shite

Spice Girls.

Did you take girls with you, or go on your own?

You do understand that this is very serious?
Nope. It was a group of 8 blokes:down:
Can I say in my defence I did step in at the last minute when someone pulled out:angel: Please please please forgive me. It was all Chez's fault

Not so much embarrasing as a person but the way he performed was appalling. David Bowie Wembley Arena 1995/96 I think people were leaving half way through. I saw him in 90 at MK Bowl and he was great. Also had to endure the odd Cliff Richard concert as a kid in the 70`s/80`s:blush:

An unnamed gig in a small Sydney pub where I'd had a few too many and agreed to get up and sing with the lead guitarist in the band....I still shudder to this day....
