I thought Arthur may have persuaded you to take him to the Wiggles, Tede.

Thankfully he has no knowledge of such things yet  (and I intend to keep it that way for a while) :lolol:

I've seen Nik Kershaw, voluntarily at the age of 18 in 1984. I was trying to impress my girlfriend at the time.

I've seen Howard Jones, again see above.

But the worst was seeing Wet Wet Wet in 1997 with my now wife. She got 3 tickets, for the wife, her friend and me. Unfortunately, one of the tickets was for the row behind. I got this ticket and was stuck between two 12 year old girls. Marty Pellow then did his bit by asking all the crowd to stand up and dance. Now what do I do? Sit there and look like an old sour puss, or dance with the 12 year old. Yep I got up and danced.

Never again.

Thankfully Arthur is more into diggers and trucks and race cars at the moment....dancing around to stupid tunes isn't on the agenda!!

6ix (Irish Popstars winners) :shootself

Did 5ive sue them for sopyright infridgement?

I saw a band called Sunna during exam week on the back of seeing one video on MTV2 or something. I missed half the gig because we were doing the union music quiz below the venue.

They were awful. But it was better than revision...

I've witnessed Limp Bizcuit at a festival, but I'd say that they were so bad they were good.

I was at the mighty Liverpool Polytechnic, graduating in the year that it became the John Moores University. We had to fight the Uni to get 'Liverpool Polytechnic' on our degrees.

I lived in Aigburth, met my missus, played footie for the Poly, played Lancs league cricket for Aigburth and for Liverpool, and had the best 3 years of my life.

Great city.

Not the PROPER Uni then

Only band I can remember seeing at the Royal Court is Simple Minds, but a lot of 81 - 84 is a BLUR.

He certainly has cred - lead singer from The Equals, who had a couple of decent tunes in the 60's

yes, obviously the Equals have cred, but I was watching him do "I don't wanna dance" and "electric avenue" "BOY..I'm gonna rock down to (electric avenue) an then I'll take it higher"

???

I went with my girldfriend of the time to see Bananrama at the Brighton Centre. They were wank and were supported by Strawberry Switchblade.

Did see Howard Jones and A-Ha as well at the Brighton Centre so a cracking top three of truely awful concerts.

At the Top Rank Suite I saw D:ream!!!!! I think I might be gay

I once saw The Londonboys at Buxted Village Hall.

They were there for the Jumble Sale as well.

I'm sorry, they performed or were simply boxed and for sale?
I would have bought a oft-used Edem rollerskate. Dennis was too Wesley-Snipes-Always-Bet-On-Black-Haired.
