NMH, can I ask how you got the opinion that Fraser has an attitude problem?

if we can get a fee for El-Abd I would be delighted. He lacks concentration and is totally one footed. He might get a contract with Crawley if he's lucky.

El Abd isa a good solid Div 1 defender, whether or not he is up to the Championship remains to be seen.

Wolves were apparently looking at Elphick and didnt put in a bid so they must have some doubts about him . I hope that we keep both of them and they go on to prove that they can play in the Championship, when we eventually get there, 2009/10 season?

Why should he not? There's practically no difference in the level of skill between the two divisions. Besides he's already played at Championship level when he was barely out of the youth setup - and emerged with flying colours.

That is the most absurd comment I have heard for a long time apart from the 3 or 4 sides that struggle in the Championship there is an immense difference as was shown when we struggled in that division and at the time granted he was young but Adam El Abd did not cover himself with glory in that division.

These two players are now becoming the first names most of us would put on the team sheet.

How long do you think we can keep either of them?

I think that both will go to a bigger club in the close season.

El Abd? Has been good but lets be realistic, no better than most other team's first choice centre halfs. I don't see him leaving.

Elphick? Quality and far more of a prospect than El Abd. If he was that little bit faster Im sure he would be heading off to a championship club close season.

I do sometimes think, reading the comments on here, that people have a completely inflated view on our players. In the last week people have been heralding El Abd as some sort of new Cannavaro and saying Nicky Forster is the best player in League 1.

They are decent players yes but not substantially better than other players at this level. Ask other League 1 fans and they will say exactly the same about their better players.

Elphick has been simply superb this season, yesterday proved how valuable he is. El-Abd has improved so much from last season, that these two are becoming a good unit in our back-four. Hopefully we can keep hold of Elphick in the summer, but the worrying thing is have we offered El-Abd a new contract?!

Adam is a good player - always give 110% - also will play in any position dean needs him in and will give it his all - he definately needs his contract sorted quick - Come ON Mr KNIGHT - we don't want to lose him in the summer!!!

Just giving 110% doesn't make you a good player. Whilst he has done a good job this year and has proved a fair few wrong, I doubt very much anyone of note is looking at him at all.
