These two players are now becoming the first names most of us would put on the team sheet.

How long do you think we can keep either of them?

I think that both will go to a bigger club in the close season.

I think El-Abd has been terrific for us this season, far more understated than the similarly impressive Elphick. The moaners from last season have been quietly giving him credit for his performances, but I would be surprised if we can keep hold of him for much longer. I think we would struggle without him.

The club wil need to show their intention to get into the Championship during the close season by rejecting offers from Championship clubs like Wolves for those 2.

...Just like Hammond I struggle to see what all the fuss about El-Abd is. He is error prone and an average player at best.

That comment stinks of a ballwatcher. I don't mean offence, but these two players you mention are vastly underated, usually by people that only watch games in a one dimensional way.

I think you are suggesting that I dont watch what El-Abd does off the ball? Am I correct? Maybe you can point me to some of his off the ball excellence?

All i'm saying is keep an eye on him next game and watch how much ground he covers and how much tracking of players he does meaning that the opposition cant play the passes that they want to. A defender, or indeed any players job is not solely about what they do ON the ball but equally what they do off of it.

Let's strike a deal. I'll watch his tracking and ground covering....you watch how many times he gives the ball away or gets his positioning wrong.

Arrogant twat, no offence. If we are happy with a mid table finish in this league, then yes, El Abd is going to be a starter, but to suggest a bigger club will come in for him is actually very very funny.

El Abd puts 110% in every game which is why i do actually like him as a player, however he is NOT underated. The problem is, people like yourself see him try hard, look the part, and play very well every so often. No where near consistent enough, positioning is poor but improving (very surprised you dont know this after your previous comment)
