Absolute class act - if we can keep Murray and Bennett happy and fit for next season we might have a real chance of a promotion push.

Imagine he'll go to Championship in January though.

• Just been bought from Wolves for whatever the price was, it was a STEAL
• Come January, he will be four months in to a three-year contract
• Highly rated by Brighton
• Highly rated by anyone who is interested in him
• Brighton not a selling club

Asking price: ridiculously SILLY money.

According to Wikipedia, 10−37 seconds into the Big Bang, a phase transition caused the universe to grow exponentially. This happened some 13.73 billion years ago. But even then I remember thinking "hang on this bloke's not bad" and I think I said as much to my old man if you don't believe me.

Before the universe began nothing existed, except me floating in an infinite void of timeless nothingness saying "Elliot Bennett is WELL good".

I knew he was quality before the dawn of time.

I told our creator to make him really good.

So what took us so bloody long to get him in then?

Don't tell me - Barry Lloyd...

But what I eventually grew into actually started out as a small electrolysed body of antimatter, and I remember I was floating about in your subconcious and I told you that "Elliott Bennett would be WELL good", and then you said it after I told you.

Exceptional player. As well as his more obvious talents, he is also incredibly selfless. How many times have we seen him sacrifice his own game for the sake of the team (usually after idiot right-backs have been sent off, but also against Saints on Sunday) ? His performance against Wycombe away was absolutely STUNNING.

Mate of mine is a Wolves STH and Bennett was only playing Carling Cup games and was very nuch out of favour.

Clearly a sea breeze and change of scenary was all that was required to make him into a potential star player.

I like him a lot and have been very much pro him from day one, I would be very surprised to see us sell him so early bearing in mind we have a Chairman who wants Championship football in less than two years.

Sure scouts and whoever are well aware of players without the need of a televised game to get their attention.
Scouts just can't see all the games that all teams play, and televised games bring a wider audience (of Scouts and managers). If you are suddenly in the market for a player, easiest thing to do to start is look at some videos of teams in the divisions you'd be looking at - you can see dozens of games in a week, and then go to some matches to look again at ones you're interested in.

It surprises me how much the price of the some foreign players goes up after a successful world cup. You'd think at that level of money the managers/scouts would know the rough value of top players, but some (and I'm not talking about the young ones who are emerging) seem to just be ignored until everyone sees them on tv.

The Clubs goal is Championship Football, I would be very surprised and disappointed if we agree to sell the players who will aid our promotion bid!

If we keep Murray and Bennett, they will be massive tools next season we can utilise!!
