If we sign this lad for 20m we must have spent clear of 50m this January which on top of the Summer splurge is crazy money. I would love to undestand what the latest is on our PSR position.

Our summer signings added about £41m per season to our balance sheet. These January signings may have added another £10m. I cannot imagine the club would be anywhere near breaching PSR or even risk putting us anywhere near it.

I think you mean amortisation charge. And yes, you're right: we made around £135m in 22-23 and probably another 80-100m last season (accounts due soon), so even with the extra 40-50m charge we will be well in profit for the rolling 3 year period and nowhere near breaching the 105m allowable loss.
