We definitely need more depth and quality at fullback but agree it's a slightly odd move. However, I still haven't quite wrapped my head around Ferdi yet. I'm sure he was bought as a fullback but after some pretty wobbly performance he started playing as a winger. It'll be interesting to see where he plays when he's fit.

I think Ferdi should be wing back, but we'll know when he actually plays a few games

Players can be signed subject to a medical and player terms as long as the fee is accepted within the window. Happened with us in summer 2017, except in this case the player didn't fancy so deal was off.
